Took it back to Basspro and they couldn't get it to work. They then gave me the number to call Hook2 4x bullet for help. Waste of time, said their system was down and would call back. Very unreliable it would never display the same screen twice even when I was anchored and not moving I would have to say the stars in the ratings would be in the negative if it would let me i have had problems with this unit since i bought it. I can not get it to work on any mode auto or custom. I have been using my hook 2 4x for a month. A little lite on instructions but let be honest, who reads the manual until there is a problem. I can travel at 25 knots and still get great bottom readings and depth numbers on the display. Depth of water isnt accurate at all. The sonar thing with the circle is something Lowrance should dumphave no idea what its meant to do as instructions on these units are very limited. Head unit has no adjustment in any direction. The unit shows fish when there are none at all. Been buying Lowrance products since the green box. I have had 15 to 20 different Lowrance products on several different boats. I realize that this is an entry level unit however this products is not up to par. The unit did not come with adequate instructions. Had to call factory for instruction, the instruction did not apply to my unit. They sent hook2 4x bullet new transducer to help solve some of the problems but this did not work. Had no depth scale on right side of screen which your advertisement did show. Will not read past fast idle of boat. Top of screen has large color band which interferes with bottom depth.
